An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small but rapidly growing team here at Pure Garden Buildings for a Ecommerce Administration assistant Traineeship. The company is primarily located in Folkestone and Dover, with a depot in Manchester. An opportunity to join our team, with this position being Folkestone (Hawkinge Kent) based.
Description of Vacancy
The role is suitable for someone new to Ecommerce, has a can-do attitude, or has an ambition to enter the exciting world of recruitment. We are looking for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and holds a high regard for customer service. Any prior experience in Ecommerce will be useful but not essential.
We are looking to work closely with the successful candidate, upskill them through in house training courses, and provide valuable experience. At the end of the Traineeship, all candidates will be offered an interview for a permanent position within one of the companies within the group.
About the role
In this role you will be working in the head office Reporting to the Customer Service Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Support and sit in our any business strategy meetings to optimise customer experience
- Support and learn competitor analysis
- Support with market research - optimising new and existing marketing opportunities
- Support with the monitoring of marketplace platform performance’s – Support with actions needed
- Support with stock control and stock takes
- Execution of new product listings on to marketplace platforms
- Product maintenance of all skus on marketplace platforms
- Execute Product price changes, and price maintenance
- Support with Evaluating key seasonal lines in line with data trends
- Replying to emails and messages across a variety of platforms (including eBay, Amazon and Facebook)
- Support with the Analysis of data to help improve current ways of working
- Support the Head of Ecommerce and wider team with any other tasks required
- Processing orders, Picking, and packing eCommerce orders daily
Skills Required
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Basic IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- English/Maths/ICT
Personal Qualities
- Good telephone manner, polite and professional
- Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision
- Enthusiastic, reliable, well-presented and flexible in approach

Training Provided
On the job training with the employer and Functional Skills if appropriate. Regular work based reviews carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor
