An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small but rapidly growing team here at Pure Garden Buildings Logistics Administration Assistant Traineeship. The company is primarily located in Folkestone and Dover, with a depot in Manchester. An opportunity to join our team, with this position being Dover (Kent) based.
Description of Vacancy
The role is suitable for someone new to administration work has a can-do attitude or has an ambition to enter the exciting world of recruitment. We are looking for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and holds a high regard for customer service. Any prior experience in Admin will be useful but not essential.
We are looking to work closely with the successful candidate, upskill them through in house training courses, and provide valuable experience. At the end of the Traineeship, all candidates will be offered an interview for a permanent position within one of the companies within the group.
About the role
In this role you will be working in the head office Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out administrative duties
- Assist in the route planning of jobs
- Providing general support to the office
- Communicating information between field staff and the office
- Communicating with suppliers and customers
- Analysis of data to help improve current ways of working
- Ensuring right first time
Skills Required
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Good IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel in particular)
- Good levels of numeracy
- Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision
- Enthusiastic, reliable, well-presented and flexible in approach
Personal Qualities
- Organised
- Good attention to detail
- Well-spoken and presentable
- Ability to work within a close-knit team

Training Provided
